TESS Science Support Center - 2024 Feb 26The TESS Science Support Center would like to alert the community about the NASA TESS Cycle 7 General Investigator proposal call.
Cycle 7 begins observations in October 2024 and ends in September 2025, covering observing Sectors 84 - 96.
TESS Cycle 7 proposals are solicited for targets in the Northern and Southern Ecliptic Hemispheres and in fields along the ecliptic plane.
The program enables teams to propose the collection of new 2-minute and 20-second cadence targets and provides funding to selected US investigators to analyze 2-minute and 20-second cadence and full-frame image (FFI) data, which has a cadence of 200 seconds. Proposers to the TESS GI call from US institutions can obtain small (~$70K) or large grants (~$250K).
Details of the proposal process can be found on the TESS General Investigators Page.
Proposals must be submitted through the ARK/RPS site by March 21st at 4:30pm EDT.
