Catalog Files: ESO486-G021
Stellar photometry catalogs for the galaxy ESO486-G021. PSF fitting photometry has been performed using the package DOLPHOT, version 2.0.
We release three different band-merged versions of the LEGUS stellar photometry ("v1", "v2", "v3"). They are each optimal for different science applications. For those who wish to access the original DOLPHOT photometry files, we also release the single-band photometry catalogs.
When using one of the "v1" or "v2" catalogs present on this page, please credit Sabbi et al. 2018, ApJS, 235, 23. When using one of the "v3" catalogs present on this page, please credit Thilker et al. 2018, in prep.
v1: The five-band photometry is presented in the catalog "hlsp_legus_hst_wfc3_eso486-g021_multiband_v1_stellar-phot.cat". All sources brighter than magnitude 30, with DOLPHOT parameters "object_type" ≤ 2 and "error_type" ≤ 3 are included.
v2: A selected subsection of the five-band photometry catalog, including only sources brighter than magnitude 30, with DOLPHOT parameters "object_type" ≤ 2 and "error_type" = 0 is given in the catalog "hlsp_legus_hst_wfc3_eso486-g021_multiband_v2_stellar-phot.cat".
v3: The five-band stellar photometry catalog for sources with error_type ≤ 3 using a two-stage matching process to minimize artifact/cluster contamination and maximize SED coverage per source are presented in the catalog "hlsp_legus_hst_wfc3_eso486-g021_multiband_v3_phot.fits".
Single-band photometry catalogs ("hlsp_legus_hst_wfc3_eso486-g021_f*w_stellar-phot.cat") are also available for download. Notice that no selection was applied to the single-band catalogs. Headers for the single-band photometry are reported in the files "hlsp_legus_hst_eso486-g021_f*w_stellar-phot.header".
The team has provided a Python notebook to read and plot the content of the five-band photometric catalogs. More details on the content of each v1 or v2 catalog is presented in Sabbi et al. 2018, ApJS, 235, 23.
