Deterministic Catalogs: NGC3738

The version 1 catalogs were presented in Cook et al. 2019, MNRAS, 484, 4897. The version 2 catalogs were presented in Cook et al. 2022, MNRAS, and include correction for the underestimation of the contribution of the nebular emission spectra for the youngest age steps in the SED models for metallicities Z=0.008 and lower. This has affected about 15% of the recovered physical parameters for clusters in sub-solar metallicity galaxies.

The new SED fits have produced older cluster ages for about 15% of the clusters in the dwarf sample. The main revision concerns clusters that were initially assigned a best-fit age of 1 Myr. Roughly 28% of these clusters have now moved to a 3 Myr age. Another significant change is that a smaller fraction (~14%) of clusters with an initial best age of 5 Myr have now moved into the 10 Myr range, after the correct SSP models were used in the fit. However, the recovered masses and extinctions do not change significantly and remain within the mass uncertainties (about 0.2 dex).

The default or reference catalog is the one that uses Milky Way extinction, averaged aperture correction method, and Padova stellar evolutionary tracks (i.e., Row 1, Column 2, green link in the table). For further details on these catalogs, please see Adamo et al. 2017, ApJ, 841, 131.
