The HUT Project's Home page is the source of a number of publications concerning instrumentation, calibration and performance that are also referenced from the MAST web site.

HUT was one of three instruments of the ASTRO mission. The UIT project was based at Goddard Space Flight Center while the WUPPE project was based at University of Wisconsin. The three instrument teams coordinated observations and targets.
