As noted by [Martel et al.1999] for the optical image, this galaxy is flattened east-west, on an almost perpendicular direction to the radio jet axis. The edge of a companion to the east is visible on the corner of the chip. There is a bright foreground star to the south of the galaxy. Globular clusters and a faint diffuse companion off the nucleus are also seen.
