HST and FUSE DADS retrievals will be down from Tuesday, September 2 through Wednesday Sept 3 for a DADS/OPUS installation. See list of alternative data sources. During part of this time, the database will also be down and so searches will be down during that time (HLA and GALEX are unaffected by this downtime).
On-the-Fly Reprocessing (OTFR) of HST DataThrough OTFR, Hubble archive users can obtain data that are processed with the latest calibration files, software, and data parameters. The OTFR system reconstructs the data files with updated headers and calibrates data when processing a user's request for the data from the archive. WFPC2, NICMOS, and ACS data can now be retrieved with OTFR system. As of July 2007, STIS data taken prior to August 4, 2004 are no longer provided by OTFR. The raw data returned to users through OTFR is reconstructed from telemetry files to include updates to data parameters.
