Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) morphology sequence

These are all broadband, false-color images of each of the observed LMC planetary nebulae in Hubble Space Telescope GO program 8271, arranged by morphological type. This graphic is from our January 2000 AAS poster. All images are on the same spatial scale. The field of view for most objects is 3 x 3 arcsec. The physical scale is ~0.245 pc/arcsec. All images are oriented with up=north and left=east (to within ~30 degrees), except for SMP 93 which is rotated 90 degrees clockwise. Click on individual objects to enlarge. See the PDF version.
