NGC 5055 (UGC 8334, 1313+4217)

NGC 5055 (UGC 8334, 1313+4217) -- This is one of the UV-bright LINERs studied in more detail by Maoz et al. (1995), showing a bright marginally-resolved nuclear point source. Many fainter compact sources are also visible in the northern and southern corners of the image.
