NGC 3319 (UGC 5789, 1036+4156)

NGC 3319 (UGC 5789, 1036+4156) -- The elongated diffuse emission in the UV image is aligned with the strong bar of this Scd galaxy. There is an unresolved (FWHM < 0.1") nuclear source with f(2300 Å)= 1.4 × 10-16 ergs s-1 cm-2 Å-1, and several faint compact sources.
