NIRISS primary dither pattern type. When NIRISS is the only instrument operating, possible values are AMI, IMAGING, MIMF, and WFSS. When NIRISS WFSS is prime with MIRI imaging in parallel, additional possible values follow the syntax NIS-MIR<nnn>-#, where <nnn> is the 3-digit value corresponding to the central wavelength of the MIRI filter in use (e.g. 077, 128, 150, 255) and # is the number of dither points (2, 3, 4, 9). When NIRISS WFSS is prime with NIRCam imaging in parallel, the format of possible values is NIS-NRC-#<s>, where # is the number of dither points (2, 3, 4, 9) and <s> is the size of the pattern (S, M, L). When NIRISS external calibration is prime with FGS external calibration in parallel, possible values are the same as when NIRISS is the only instrument operating.
