The parallel sequence identifier is single character which is used to identify parallel sequences within a group, i.e. it indicates insturment configuration for the exposure. 'S' for no instrment, 1 for the prime insturment, or 2-5 for insurments that were operating in parallel, but not prime. The SEQ_ID is included in the observation ID.
