We are grateful to the Ball Aerospace Systems Division for its commitment to the IMAPS instrument program over its 15-year lifetime and to the many individuals in that company who worked on IMAPS, both during our sounding-rocket years and preparations for Astro-SPAS. The Astro-SPAS group of Deutsche Aerospace under the leadership of K. Moritz did a thoroughly professional job in carrying out their technical and management roles for the mission. R. Stachnik and E. Weiler of NASA Headquarters gave steadfast support for the IMAPS program, even in times of difficulty. The Optical Sciences Division of the Goddard Space Flight Center assisted us by coating and testing our gratings. The sounding-rocket group at the University of Colorado were generous in providing their time and their vacuum test facility so that we could carry out an end-to-end test of IMAPS with a far-uv light source.
