Biswajit Ganguly - 2020 May 06As the Archive Sciences Branch manager, I'd like to take this opportunity to update our users on MAST operations during this time. The vast majority of STScI personnel are currently working from home, yet MAST support and development is continuing remotely as much as is possible. We continue to release new data collections, such as the science files behind Hubble's remarkable 30th anniversary image, and work under the hood to ensure consistent performance of our many services. The Archive Help Desk is also available as usual, so feel free to contact us if there is anything we can help you with!
I would also like to take a moment and extend my thanks to the many STScI staff members involved in keeping MAST services and machinery up and running. These are extraordinary times, and rapidly adjusting to a very different operating dynamic has been challenging, but our personnel have risen to the occasion. Our best wishes for your continued well-being, and continued advancement of humanity's knowledge of our universe!
